Integrative nursing has a history of more than 2000 years. There is a nursing care discussion about taking medicine for the patient in Shanghanlun, which was published in the third A.D. (Eastern Han Dynasty of China). Integrative nursing has both theoretical basis and rich practical experience. It has formed a multi-level education includeing nursing undergraduate, masters and PhD degrees and on-the-job training system. However, there is no specialized integrative nursing journal at home and abroad, resulting in the failure to spread timely a large part of the research results. Under the above situation, TMR Integrative Nursing came into being.
As the sister journal of Traditional Medicine Research, TMR Integrative Nursing pay attention to theory and practice combination of integrative nursing. It aims to exchange experience and promote the development of integrative nursing.
